LANGuardian extends the capability for those using SolarWinds Orion by integrating into the Orion web console and generating traffic based reports. Displaying this traffic based data side by side, together with device based data from Orion creates a single point of access for all the information an engineer needs to monitor and resolve network issues.
What does LANGuardian add to Orion NPM?
- Drill down into traffic itself and see distribution by port, IP Address and protocol.
- Determine the IP Address of the client that is connected to the specified switch port
- Identify user names associated with the client
- Drill down to see details of websites and actual web pages accessed through each interface
Steps to Integrate with Orion:
- In LANGuardian, set up the report the way you want it to appear in Orion NPM
- In Orion NPM create a custom html resource and add the code created by LANGuardian
