"What can I say, the guys at Prosperon have provided not only a excellent product but also the technical support and training to accompany it. Thanks chaps."
The following are the core features found within Scrutinizer, allowing
for accurate information on Who is doing What, Where and When they were
doing it. Critical information to ensure your bandwidth is being used
correctly and for maintaining a high performing network.
Traffic Analysis
Scrutinizer cuts to the chase and provides the top users, top
applications, and details on the users of the application or the
applications used by the end system. In just a few minutes, the
fundamental navigation of the software becomes clear. View top level
utilization information with Scrutinizer and see the amount of traffic
being generated through specific interfaces of a router.
Real-time Display
On demand, Scrutinizer can communicate directly with the hardware and
display in and out traffic utilization in 5 second intervals. Superb
for on the spot analysis of why you network is running slow at that
moment in time.
VoIP & QOS Analysis
VoIP can use significant levels of bandwidth within an organisation.
Use Scrutinizer to view usage levels at critical termination points;
VoIP server, routed WAN links etc. and view trend patterns to ensure
enough bandwidth is available for the sensitive VoIP protocols. Ensure
that applications are being tagged correctly for QOS and that
prioritised traffic is not being congested.
Search & Find
As Scrutinizer can scale to thousands of devices and interfaces, it is
important to be able to access information quickly and efficiently.
Select any device sending NetFlow or sflow and search by host or
protocol. The results are displayed in easy to understand format. Drag
and drill in on the selected time frame, to view linked data; source,
end point, applications etc. and highly useful for trend analysis.
Drag & Drill
Scrutinizer includes Drag & Drill™ technology
empowering the user to drag the mouse over a time sample, release and
view a closer look at the top talkers and applications of a specific
time frame. Right before your eyes scrutinizer jumps from 12 hour or
half hour intervals down to 5 minute or 1 minute intervals.
Reporting
Using the stored historic data, reports can be configured to show
detailed reports on Netflow traffic data. Together with the account
restrictions, report access can be fully permission based. Schedule
reports to be sent automatically via email. Perfect for MSSP's to send
to clients, to send an overview report managers and for technicians to
review first thing in the morning.
Network Mapping
View your network utilisation brought to life with dynamic network
maps. Links change colour depending on user definable utilisation
criteria, to clear present the live status of your network. Integration
to Google maps, other 3rd party application, and ability to create sub
maps all within the browser interface.
Service Level Reporting
Leverage Scrutinizer NetFlow & sFlow Analyzer to help verify
availability of the applications and services that your business
depends on. Scrutinizer allows you to verify application availability
while simultaniously letting you review traffic levels.
Trend Analysis
Network capacity is not always about provisioning more bandwidth, and
potentially expensive at that. By analysing what applications are using
bandwidth, when and how much, allows network administrators to ensure
the bandwidth is being used in the most efficient way. Highlight users
and applications using unnecessary bandwidth, which can be controlled
far more efficiently and cheaply.
Netflow, sFlow & IPFIX
If you have Netflow, sFlow or IPFIX capable routers or switches, you
can point the flow data to Scrutinizer for analysis. With sFlow and
IPFIX most of the same great traffic detail is available.
Integrate with SolarWinds Orion & Dartware InterMapper
The architecture of Scrutinizer allows easy integration with other 3rd party applications, including SolarWinds' Orion network performance monitor solutions:
Embed the Scrutinizer router display directly into Orion and get network traffic details without having to close SolarWinds.
