Identify and solve problems on your network before your users realize there's a problem.
Network applications and services can be monitored using the TCP Port Monitor, and any map node can be monitored with a Poll List.
The TCP Port Monitor checks the availability of applications and services on your network. Monitor different ports on different systems and associate alerts with any or all monitored services. Customize the TCP Port Monitor by adding your own site-specific TCP ports.
Poll Lists verify that map objects are responsive and provide statistics on how quickly the object responds. Any or all map nodes can be included on one or more Poll Lists, each with their own options. Use alerts to receive notification if nodes are unresponsive or become responsive again.
You can also monitor your network for intruders and log nodes on and off the network using Continuous Scan IDS.
Alerts
Create as many alerts as you need, each with different options. Set alerts for different groups of people for different events (e.g., http stops responding vs. a router going down).
